Right now we live near lovely Lake Chapala. In a comfortable solar powered 250 square meter home. Not too big ... not too small ... just right.

We also used to live in Mazatlan (from 1991 until 2009) in our 650 square meter home in El Cid Marina. By the way, if you have a cool million lying around, this house is currently (2011) for sale. Just write us a note if you're interested.

While the winters are beautiful in Mazatlan, the summers are brutal, so we used to get away to Reno, where we lived in a nice 320 square meter home in Reno, Nevada, the biggest little city in the world. We also used to live on the beach, in a house that was built by a member of the Arellano Felix gang. (A former number one on the FBI's most wanted list, until Osama came along, and then Felix's career cut short by a shootout here in Mazatlan.)

We also used to live in a 150 square meter house in Belvedere, Marin County, California, but decided to cash out and raise our standard of living. Not that you're asking, but even though our home in Mazatlan is more than 4 times bigger than the one in California, they are both worth about the same amount of money. Kinda makes you wish you bought a few acres out here back in the 50's, doesn't it?

Quote of the day:
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
