Here is the info we have on the Morelia trip, that is where the millions of monarch butterflies winter. It is a fund raiser that Jack and I do for the Animal Shelter here in Maz...we have a lot of fun on the bus. The trip will take about 10 to 12 hours maximum with about 4 stops along the way for stretching, smoke breaks, etc. Our bus is 1st class with bathroom facilities, reclining seats, DVD player etc. We have a lot of fun, play bingo for those who wish, watch movies have Happy Hour etc. Jack provides narration on points of interest. Most folks find the time flies by. We ask everyone to pack their own lunches, snacks and drinks. That way we save time and get there quicker. We have a cooler with ice on board. We hope to have around 40 passengers and have about 10 seats left.

We will be staying in Morelia Centro for the 4 nights, everyone will have their own bathroom. As far as the trip to the butterfly sanctuary, our bus and driver will get us as close as possible, then we will make arrangements from that point. This is our 1st time doing this trip, so we are learning as we go. Last year we took a group to Guanajuato for 5 days and had a fantastic time! Plus made a very nice donation to Los Animales..... We are asking for half down as soon as possible and the balance 10 days before departure. Many have paid the full amount up front. You will also have a more accurate itinerary at that time. If you have anymore questions please email or call.
